PST IN THE COMMUNITY

Fundraising For Charity

At PST being an active part of the community is something we take great pride in. Developing a community spirit in our teams and club is something we feel passionate about. We always try and find fun and engaging ways to give back to the community.

St Catherines Hospice

In 2015 each team at the club came up with their own fundraising activity to raise funds for St Catherines Hospice. Activities included sponsored litter picks, bike rides and even a FIFA night.

Docks to Disney

Since July 2016 to the present day the club has helped to support the 'Docks to Disney' event arranged by Ashton High School to help raise funds for various charities. Coaches, players and parents completed laps of the docks in Preston to help accomplish the goal of running the distance from Preston docks to Disney in Florida.

Ribble Rivers Trust

Since 2016 Penwortham St Teresa's JFC has attended the annual 'Ribble Rivers Trust' litter pick. Players, parents and coaches from PST have teamed up with local volunteers to help keep the banks of the Ribble looking clean and tidy for the local community.

Penwortham Plodders

In 2023 parents, players and coaches took part in the Penwortham Plod fun run, 5k run and PST Coaches v Penwortham Town Coaches Game. A grand total of £1657 was raised and this was split between Penwortham Food Bank, PST and Penwortham Town.
